The origin of the name.
In Hebrew, Sim Lev means to put the heart, to pay true attention, to make something with intention. When we named this studio, we didn't choose a word. We chose an instruction.
We build ideas we believe deserve to exist.
We don't believe in creating for the sake of creating. We believe the best projects are born when an idea finds intention, technology, and people who truly care about building it.
Care isn't a finishing touch. For us, it's the method, the thing you feel in the work long after you've forgotten how it was made.
We build only what we believe should exist.
A project isn't launched. It's gestated.
Every object we leave in the world carries our attention inside.
An independent studio, on purpose.
We're not an agency, an accelerator, or a fund. Simlev builds and owns its own ventures: a small number of digital products we create, hold, and keep tending, rather than projects we make for clients.
We stay small so we can stay close to the work. Few projects, deep attention, and the patience to let an idea become what it was meant to be.
Some of what we make stays an experiment. Some becomes a product with its own name, like HIUSH. All of it carries the same intention at its origin: to put the heart in what is made.
Share the way we see it?
We build our own ventures, and welcome the rare few who want to build them with us.
